I didn’t start yesterday. And that makes a difference.
I've been doing web design for 15 years — since the days when every browser was different and every line of code mattered. That’s when I learned how much the small details shape the big picture.
Modern web design often looks slick — but loads slowly because of bloated features. I focus on fast sites that work. Not just pretty pages, but real results.
I don’t drag boxes on a screen — I write custom code, shaped by experience. My process creates clean, fast websites that keep visitors, not lose them.
Here’s my storyLove at First Click
I got my first computer — and I already knew my future would revolve around screens. There was no question.
My First Website (Yes, With Tables)
I wrote my first site in raw HTML. No flexbox, no grid — just table
, td
, and the magic of code turning into something visual.
Enter Content Management Systems
I discovered a CMS called e107 and built my first client website. That’s when it all started.
Into the Responsive Future
I began learning HTML5 and CSS3 and followed the rise of responsive design. For the first time, it felt like the web was evolving.
WordPress Joins the Party
I started using WordPress — first for my own projects, then for clients. It was flexible and reliable, but I knew the real magic began once I moved beyond templates.
Still Templates, But Passionate
I was customizing pre-made templates to fit clients’ needs. This is when I really learned what makes a website effective. I also launched my first web design blog.
First Custom WP Theme
I coded my first custom WordPress theme for my blog. To my surprise, it caught some attention in the web design community. That’s when I went from *using* WordPress to *understanding* it.
Web Designer, Full-Time
I landed my first full-time web design job at an international company — thanks to my blog. What began as a passion became a profession. For 10+ years, I worked with small and large tech teams in agile product settings. My focus was always the same: UX, SEO, speed, and mobile-first design.
Officially Certified
I finished a formal design training, but real learning came from real projects. Nothing teaches like doing the work.
Performance & Accessibility: Next Level
I joined a team where performance and accessibility weren’t extras — they were core values. That’s where my web philosophy took shape: write code that’s fast and accessible for everyone, on any device.
Became a Lead & Mentored Two Designers
I stepped into a leadership role and helped guide two junior designers in their careers. I learned how to support others while staying focused on team goals.
Started My Own Studio Full-Time
I finally went solo. Every project I take on now feels personal — and that’s exactly why they work.
